ClearSite Communications, Inc. Unveils New Product Suite

Feedback from customers prompted a deep exploration into the intelligent video sensor and communications world. ClearSite Communications, Inc. developed the ReconPro to address the growing demand for a low cost alternative to integrated security systems. In many cases, the customer simply wants quick notification of events as detected by video analytics and/or physical sensors without the need to constantly monitor their camera locations. With a ReconPro, they can proactively react to situations as they occur. The emphasis is on low cost, ease of deployment, and timely notification vs. building large network infrastructures and high definition video storage systems.

ClearSite looked at licensing the video analytics piece from existing analytics providers but nothing in the market satisfied our requirements. We needed analytics that were easy to use and configure, yet flexible and efficient enough to handle the vast scenarios encountered in the real world. In addition, we wanted to tightly integrate the video analytics with physical sensors to allow reliable coverage in almost any environment. Further, the analytics must be highly efficient so they could run on a single edge based platform. We concluded the only way to accomplish these goals was to develop the technology from scratch.

After two years of intense hardware and software development, we are proud to offer the ReconPro. ReconPro greatly exceeds our original goals and there is nothing like it on the market. It provides for simple hardware installation and setup. It can be accessed locally or remotely with virtually any PC, laptop, or smartphone since only a standard browser is used and no special software is required. The combination of video analytics and physical sensors work extremely well together. Local storage of video and built-in wireless accessibility can completely eliminate the need for DVRs and network infrastructure. The ReconPro can provide alerts through simple email, contact closure, or other interfaces, as well as providing the facility to download video months after an event occurs.
